Style Icon Marilyn Seen in New Light Through Last Sitting Outtakes models and members all owe a debt of gratitude to the late Marilyn Monroe. She was not only an actress but a media sensation and style icon, and is still to this day one of the most photographed women in the world.

In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot a series of photos of Marilyn Monroe that have come to be known as “The Last Sitting.” While it is evident that Marilyn was starting to succumb to the pitfalls of aging, her charm, charisma and sex appeal still shine through.

Blogger Leo on has posted a large collection of rare unseen proofs and outtakes from Marilyn’s most famous photoshoot. Many of the images are Not Safe for Work, but they all offer photographic proof into the woman behind the legend.
